TELETOON BREAKS NEW GROUND WITH
LATEST ORIGINAL PRODUCTION SLATE
New shows include a live-action series and an online and television-integrated series
(Banff, Alberta, June 15, 2010) – TELETOON Canada inc. today announced that five new Canadian original series have been greenlit for production. New projects include comedy series Crash Canyon and Detentionaire, live-action/animation hybrid series Mudpit, a social, web and TV-integrated series called GeoFreakZ, and My Babysitter’s A Vampire, a live-action series based on the MOW of the same name.
“As a proud supporter of Canada’s animation and kids television industry, we’re very excited to present our upcoming production lineup,” said Carole Bonneau, Vice President, Programming, TELETOON Canada inc. “The latest slate continues to harvest successful homegrown animation productions, all the while taking advantage of new opportunities including TELETOON’s foray into live-action with My Babysitter’s a Vampire and our 360ยบ application to the new series GeoFreakZ.”
In addition to these titles, TELETOON is developing the following new series: Quasitoon Tim (Sardine Productions), Artificial Idol (DHX Media), Gofers (Neptoon Studios), Sherlock Legacy (Bejuba) and the older-skewing Senior Years (Fresh TV Inc.).
So what is gofers about?
ReplyDeleteHere's a idea you could do, Use Total Drama Characters AFTER the TD series is over (with the first main characters) and get them into their own show called "High School Drama" :p It will be like their life in the filming.

ReplyDeleteI'm curious too..I am making a theory and saying that from the picture it looks like some teens that are actors/actresess that think they deserve a big shot and a star. That or their either a bunch of teens somehow in Hollywood doing a job...(Yeah..thts basically the same thing) Anywho, I'd watch it! I looks cool!

I like Zach's idea, mainly because I'd want to see Izzy outside of a reality show setting.

ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or do those feet with the little red sandals look sorta like Heather's feet? And the ones with the black boots look like Gwen's? It's a big stretch, but thats just my thought.
