Today will be my last day directing. The past two seasons have been a blast and I can't believe how much everyone likes the show - who woulda thunk.
Mark (Thorny) will continue directing till the end of the season and then a new director will be coming on for 3rd season (which is shaping up to be pretty slick).
As a small thank you, I did a quick and dirty sketch of Duncan's head. It was done in Sketchbook Pro and I just started using the software...so no laughing.

You're leving? Well, I'm sure you've heard this already but, You will be missed.You did a reamarkable job too. You put Cartoon Network in the top 10 for the Network Ratings. And that was all because of that one show. That one show had such a kick, that even if you couldn't stand cartoons, you had to laugh at that show! It's really aweomse and what I'm trying to say is that you've done an Outstanding job on TDI and TDA.

You've done a wonderful thing with these series. Thank you so much for creating it. It reminded me of the cartoons I fell in love with back when I was 12. Total Drama series have been a wonderful show to watch.

Well Mr. Kauffman,
You all did a hardcore job with TDI, reiterating on prior comments- you and the whole team jumped CN back to a place it never could have achieved without your help. If that weren't enough, TDA is shaping up nicely too (sure I'm in the US and probably shoudln't know much about it, but if there's a will, there's a way). Usually a 2nd season loses originality or gets dull, yet TDA keeps true to the title, "Fresh" tv. You and Thorny, along with everyone who made the show have a lot to be proud of. I hope you continue to 'do your thang' as it were, and with any luck we'll get a couple of directors who we're a fraction as awesome as either of you were.
But- just because you're leaving doesn't mean your off the hook entirely.
We'll just say that we, the fans, will take affirmative action should the show take a turn for the worse. Just know that if something truly stupid happens that you and Thorny will be contacted, and the fans will march down to Teletoon and make sure you guys set 'em straight!
Stay hardcore, man. This world, these people, aren't quite done with you yet.
