I'm not sure how well the colleges today prepare students for working in the industry. Personally, I learned more in my first 3 months on the job than I did in my 3 years in college. If you are interested in getting into animation, work on your drawing skills and motion analysis. If you have a solid foundation on how things behave and look, you will be able to apply that knowledge to any media.

I live in the US and my dad has a Grey Market satellite dish for StarChoice and he gets all the Canadian networks. I have seen the entire series of TDI way before it came out in the US. Heck, my dad burned me and all my friends DVDs of the show! I am going to watch the special at my house here in Houston with all my friends and my dad is going to burn us DVDs of it! My dad is THE COOLEST!!!
